CRIMSON FALLS

“High quality deathcore/every track is a true rollercoaster of dynamics, heavy grooves and cunningly placed breaks.” (Quote from an underground magazine)
The oldest traces of the Crimson Falls date back to 2002 when the band was originally formed by Kristof (guitars), Ringo (guitars) & Sigi (drums). The current line-up got together in spring 2004 and started playing shows in august 2004. Crimson Falls released its debut mcd 'Ruins 2K5' in May 2005. This first effort put the band on the map in the metal & hardcore scene and got praised by an impressive series of national and international reviews.
This release was followed by a huge amount of shows. Meanwhile the band got ready for the recordings of their first full-length label release. In December 2006 'The True Face Of Human Nature’ came out on Shiver Records. Crimson Falls fully promoted the new album, playing numerous shows in Europe, with a performance at last year's Graspop festival as the absolute highlight. On this last release Crimson Falls shows you human nature’s true face. The album, recorded, mixed and mastered at CCR studio (Aborted, In-Quest, Betzefer, Liar, Leng Tch’e), brings you 45 minutes of modern & hard-hitting deathmetalcore. Crimson Falls blends a wide range of influences into an intense, passionate and crushing unity of death metal, metalcore and thrash metal. Expect fast and aggressive riffs, brutal mosh breakdowns, blistering blast, complex rhythms and melancholic melodies.
‘The True Face Of Human Nature’ features guest appearances by Svencho (Aborted) on ‘Controle Alt Delete’ and XCaroX (No Recess) on ‘Martyr Vs. Terrorist’. The artwork is conceived by Avernus Studios, a new design agency born out of the ashes of Dirge Design (The Black Dahlia Murder, Behemoth, Despised Icon…). An extensive booklet is added to this album with liner notes commenting every song, giving a deeper insight on the lyrical content. Crimson Falls proclaims a positive message of freedom, self-confidence and following your dreams, while other songs put the finger on the pulse of our modern society and it’s excesses. This one is for the moshers as well as the headbangers, the metalheads ànd the hardcore kids. No limits, no boundaries.
Crimson Falls recorded its second full length in September/October 2008 at CCR studio and was mixed and mastered there as well in November/ December 2008. The new album shows a more mature and evolved Crimson Falls, pushing their mix of ingredients to the extreme. This one is harder, more varied an hard-hitting then ever before. The album will be released early in 2009. Stay tuned for more details! Horns up.
For fans of All Shall Perish, Lamb Of God, The Black Dahlia Murder, Gojira & At The Gates.
